Only 10 km far from Włodawa, on the road from Orchówek to Chełm, there is a small village – surrounded by beautiful forests. This is the place , where during the II world war and precisely in March 1942 – the Germans created the extermination camp for Jews and for Jewish people originated from Austria, Belgium, Czechoslowakia, France, Holland, Germany, Poland and the Soviet Union.

Stawki
Only three kilometers far from Różanka on the road to north there is a beautiful village Stawki. Here you can find everything: cut ,with picturesque gorge, high slope and the sight of Bug river, wooden manorfrom XIX century and also wooden cottages, farm buildings from XIX and XX century, small chapels standing by the road and the old forge. In tourist guides which advertise Podlasie at least 30 state that the tourist visiting Stawki stands still just watching and wants to stay here forever.
Suszno
In the years 1385 – 1730 Suszno belonged to Grand Duchy of Lithuania . After the year 1815 till 1920 there wasmint of false money. After the I world war there was also starch plants and later bricyard which ended its prosperity in 1968 now it is privte. In the years 1975 – 1998 the locality was the administrative part of chełmskie vivodeship.
